Protection of Rights to Geographical Indications

Geographical indication (or a designation of a place of origin of a good) is an indication which identifies a good having given qualities conditioned by the natural conditions of a place of production.
The rights to geographical indications shall be conferred by the registration pursuant to the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Rights to Geographical Indications" and attested by a certificate.
