UKRAINIAN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LEGISLATION

For the time being, the Ukrainian national intellectual property legislation includes 9 laws:

• The law of Ukraine «On Protection of Rights to Inventions and Utility Models»
• The law of Ukraine «On Protection of Rights to Industrial Designs»
• The law of Ukraine «On Protection of Rights to Trade marks and Service marks»
• The law of Ukraine «On Protection to Plant Varieties»
• The law of Ukraine «On Protection of Rights to Topographies of Integrated Circuits»
• The law of Ukraine «On Protection of Rights to Geographical Indications»
• The law of Ukraine «On Protection Against Unfair Competition»
• The law of Ukraine «On Copyrights and Related Rights»
• The law of Ukraine «On Restriction of Monopolism and Prevention of Unfair Competition»

This section presents the structure of four laws providing the protection of rights to subject matters eligible for protection in the Ukraine.
